NYEWASCO congratulates its Non-Revenue Water Management Officer, Grace Kuria, on her election to the International Water Association (IWA) Water Loss Specialist Group Management Committee.
Grace joins water professionals from around the world who work to advance knowledge and good practice in managing water losses and non-revenue water. Her election brings experience from Kenya’s water sector to those international discussions.
With more than 11 years of experience in water efficiency and loss reduction, Grace has contributed to NYEWASCO’s work in non-revenue water management. She has also shared the company’s experience with fellow professionals, including through a presentation on smart water loss management for climate-resilient water systems at the Kenya Water and Sanitation Conference and Exhibition.
The Water Loss Specialist Group promotes approaches that help utilities measure water accurately, identify losses and improve how they manage their networks. Grace’s place on its Management Committee is an opportunity to share practical lessons from NYEWASCO while learning from the work of utilities and specialists elsewhere.
